OCD
as stated above I have severe/debilitating ocd which is the main cause of my extreme anxiety, panic attacks, depression and ptsd, and often leaves me roombound/housebound up to years on end. currently in erp therapy.major triggers are listed here but please be kind and patient, if i take time to respond or do not reply it is likely because of this as i have smaller triggers as well which are often common words/topics that are unavoidable and my compulsions take up hours each day + i have certain words and phrases muted so some tweets might not show up on my page so please don’t be offended if i don’t interact with something you’ve posted!
ABSOLUTELY DNI if you joke about ocd as a “quirky personality trait” and say things like “omg i’m so ocd” “everyone’s a little ocd”it is incredibly ignorant and harmful, do not use a devastating and debilitating mental illness that affects and takes so many lives as a joke. do better.links to learn more
